Retests are how we prove your capacity is compounding.

Most programs rely on motivation and vibes. MYObase uses a simple baseline + retest cadence so you can see progress in your strength, control, mobility, and tolerance under load.

  • Know what’s improving (and what isn’t).
  • Adjust the plan based on real signals, not guesswork.
  • Build confidence from objective receipts.

What is a retest?

A retest is a short, repeatable check-in that measures the same capacity markers you started with, so we can compare apples to apples. It’s not a full evaluation. It’s a fast “receipt” that tells us whether your system is moving in the right direction.

Retests answer one question:

“Is your body becoming more capable under the load of your life?”

What we measure

Capacity under load

  • Tolerance for everyday demands
  • Recovery after effort

Strength & control

  • Basic output & stability patterns
  • Ability to generate force

Mobility & range

  • Range you can actually use
  • Not party tricks. Function.

Tolerance & recovery

  • Movement cost and ease under load
  • Recovery speed after effort

We keep the markers simple so changes are meaningful, trackable, and actionable.

Why we retest every 4 weeks

Clarity

You stop wondering if it’s “working.”

Course Correction

If something isn’t moving, we adjust early, before you waste months.

Confidence

Objective progress builds adherence. Adherence compounds.

"Retests turn your health from a hope into a measurable project."

The Retest Cadence

Session 1: Baseline MBI (In-Home)

  • • Full MBI in-home
  • • Establish starting point
  • • Confirm constraints + plan

Session 8: Mid-Point (Active Block)

  • • In-home mid-point MBI
  • • Written comparison to baseline
  • • Active Block only

Final Retest (S8 or S16)

  • • 8-Week Sprint: Session 8 final
  • • Active Block: Session 16 final
  • • Written before-and-after report

Annual MBI (Body 401k)

  • • In-home annual retest
  • • Year-over-year comparison report
  • • Maintenance tier cadence

MBI = MYObase Index. Mapping includes baseline MBI as part of the full 5-domain intake. BUILD blocks (8-Week Sprint, Active Block) include documented before-and-after MBI arcs.

How it works (in real life)

1

You complete a short retest check-in (fast, repeatable).

2

You submit the required markers (same format every time).

3

We compare to baseline and prior retests.

4

You receive a short “receipt summary” and your next progression.

You Receive

  • What improved
  • What's flat
  • What changed
  • Next 7-day focus

No long appointments. No re-explaining your story. Just clean signals and course correction.

What progress usually looks like

Weeks 1–4: Stabilize

Less friction. Better tolerance for basics. Early wins in consistency.

Weeks 5–8: Build

More output. More control. Less recovery cost.

Weeks 9–12: Integrate

Plan survives travel/chaos. Your worst-week version gets stronger. Confidence rises because receipts are undeniable.

We’re not chasing perfection. We’re building a system that survives your real life.
