The Healthspan Snapshot
Your body is telling you something. You just haven't mapped it yet.
The Healthspan Snapshot is a free, five-minute capacity read built for high-responsibility adults who don't have time to guess what's slipping. You'll find out where your physical capacity is leaking, what it means for the next 20 years, and what to do about it first.
Built by Dr. Noel Santayana, PT, DPT, Healthspan Strategist. 19 years inside the healthcare system. This is the work the system doesn't do.
The problem
You're behind on maintenance, not in decline.
Most high-performing adults spend their 40s accumulating small deficits they chalk up to aging. The way you move, recover, and hold up under load is not a fixed fact about getting older. It is a score, and right now, yours is drifting.
The staircase that takes more out of you than it used to. The week-long recovery from a day of hiking. The quiet calculation you now make before you volunteer to carry something heavy. None of that is inevitable. It is the gap between the physical capacity you currently have and the life you intend to keep running.
The Snapshot shows you exactly where the gap is.
What it is
Five minutes. Five pillars. One number that matters.
The Healthspan Snapshot is a self-assessment baseline built around the MYObase Index: five physical capacity pillars drawn from the same evidence base used in peer-reviewed mortality research.
What it covers: The Snapshot measures the MOVE domain: five physical capacity pillars (the MYObase Index) that determine your output. MOVE is what we can train directly and document over time.
- ENGINEhow long your cardiovascular system sustains real effort before it becomes your ceiling
- FRAMEhow well your structural strength holds up across a demanding task
- CONTROLhow reliably your body responds when the environment stops cooperating
- MOBILITYhow much of your available range you actually have access to under load
- FOOT FOUNDATIONthe upstream driver of movement quality most programs never assess
You'll get a Capacity Score by pillar, your primary leak, and three actions specific to your profile.
About the other four domains. The Snapshot measures MOVE, your output. A full Mapping Session also screens the four input domains that drive that output over time: LOAD (stress and demands), REBUILD (sleep and recovery), BUFFER (mental load), and ANCHOR (purpose and connection). If the full-domain picture matters to you, that's the next step after your Snapshot.
No medical history required. No clinical intake. This is a performance baseline, not a health screen.
Who this is for
Built for adults who manage everything except this
You are running a high-load life. Career, family, aging parents, probably a business or a leadership role with real weight behind it. You have not let the physical side collapse. But you have let it slip, the quiet way things slip when every 45-minute window gets reassigned to something more urgent.
The Snapshot is for you if:
- You are in your 40s or early 50s and the physical feedback is starting to change
- You move enough to know it matters but not systematically enough to know where you stand
- You want a number, not a program, at least until you understand what you're actually working with
- You are not injured and not in crisis; you are investing before the crisis arrives
If you are dealing with an active injury or a condition requiring skilled care, the right starting point is a qualified physical therapist, not a capacity coach. (Need that? See the note at the bottom of this page.)
Credibility
Why this framework holds up
Dr. Noel Santayana, PT, DPT, Healthspan Strategist
19 years as a practicing PT, DPT. In that time, he watched the same pattern repeat: people arrive with a breakdown that started years earlier and went unaddressed because the system only shows up after the injury.
The MYObase Index draws on the same mortality and performance research that informs elite athletic assessment. The difference is who it is built for: healthy adults in their 40s and 50s, not elite athletes and not yet in the clinical lane, but with a 20-to-30-year compounding window still open.
The evidence behind each pillar is published, cited, and traceable. This is not optimization theater or a wellness trend.
Receipts over vibes.
How it works
Three steps. No friction.
- 01
Take the Snapshot. five minutes, no login required. Answer five short questions, one per capacity pillar. You will see your score and your primary leak immediately.
- 02
Get your personalized read. A short email follow-up walks through what your score means, what is driving the leak, and what the evidence says about closing it.
- 03
Decide if you want to go deeper. If the read lands and you want to map a full 90-day whole-person capacity plan, you can schedule a Fit Call. The Fit Call is a routing conversation, not a sales close. It confirms whether a Mapping Session or a coached block is the right next step for where you are now, or whether a different path makes more sense. No hard close. If now is not the right time, the read still stays with you.

Dealing with an injury or a clinical issue?
The Snapshot is built for adults who are not currently injured. If you have an active injury or a condition that needs skilled care, the right next step is a licensed physical therapist.
Dr. Noel Santayana also practices clinical PT through his concierge practice. You can learn more or book a clinical session at noelDPT.com.
